Arena paper-cost model
This page records the assumptions used by Denarino's closed-beta simulation. They are modelled training inputs, not prices from a broker and not a claim that a broker would offer the same execution, financing or margin.
Competition rule
Each paper account starts with USD 100,000. A complete portfolio reset removes its trading history and standings while preserving earned Arena achievements. There is no reset-frequency limit.
Execution and financing
- Spread and slippage: 0.10% of notional on each modelled opening and closing fill.
- Commission: USD 1.00 on each modelled opening and closing fill.
- Long margin financing: the measured one-month US Treasury rate plus 2.00% a year, applied only to the modelled financed amount.
- Short borrow: the measured one-month US Treasury rate plus 3.00% a year, applied to the modelled short market value.
- Financing accrues by calendar day between completed daily bars.
Generic US-style training margin
Exposure is capped at 200%. The model uses 50% initial margin, 25% long maintenance and the applicable FINRA-style short-maintenance floor. These are simulation rules, not broker eligibility or availability.
Measured and modelled
Prices, eligible headlines, foreign-exchange inputs and the Treasury benchmark are marked measured. Fills, costs, stops, financing and forced liquidations are marked modelled. Net paper profit is the ending paper balance minus the starting balance after all modelled costs and liquidations.

Arena-Papierkostenmodell
